Andy Tanabe: Web Designer Andy has been working as a graphic/web designer for 5 years. After graduating from Western Washington University in 1999 he started working as a
graphic design doing page layout for "What's Up Magazine" a local music magazine in Bellingham, Washington. After working in Bellingham for a year, he moved to Seattle where he
freelanced for various magazine publications that had nationwide circulation. Andy then moved on to work as the lead graphic designer for Miller Torgerson Associates. In March 2001
Andy Started Eye Design, his own Design company. Since starting his company he has worked for internationally known architect Robert Edson Swain, and large companies such as
General Nutrition Centers.
Andy has passion for his design work and loves working with other passionate creative people. He is excited to be apart of this wonderful creative Sly Dog team.
Mark Selander: Storyboards Mark Selander has worked in the entertainment industry for the last 5 years. He graduated in 1998 from Western Washington University with
a degree in Industrial Design. While in school he interned at Will Vinton Studios, an animation production company based out of Portland Oregon. He started out
as a model builder for a stop action animated Christmas special airing on the ABC network; The Online Adventures of Ozzie the Elf. After graduation he continued
to work in the model shop on various nationally aired commercials, producing backgrounds and set pieces. In 1999 Mark went to work as a set designer and artist
for the animated UPN television series Gary and Mike.
For the last three years Mark has been employed at Microsoft Games Studios in Seattle. As both a production artist and a conceptual designer, he has worked on
a variety of projects including Crimson Skies I and II. Mech Warrior IV and a groundbreaking web game to support the DreamWorks film A.I. Having recently completed
Crimson Skies II for the X Box, Mark is currently involved in developing concept art for an upcoming title.
Mark has also worked as a freelance illustrator, storyboard artist, and as a chipmunk puppet named Rudy for a Japanese/English language series.
Amanda Upham: Make Up Amanda Upham has been involved in the performing arts since the age of ten as a musician ( cello) and theater actress, artist, poet, and playwright.
After graduating highschool in 1998 Amanda honed her skills as an artist by freelancing for theater, arts festivals as a henna tatoo artist and weddings. She then attended International
Beauty college to study skincare where she received her Estheticians license. Amanda has recently been working as a makeup artist/stylist for Native Actress Misty Upham who has starred in
films such as Chris Eyre's "Skins", "Edge of America", "Dreamkeeper" and in the television remake of Tony Hillermans " Skinwalker". Amanda also work as a makeup artist/writer in the local
seattle theatre community.
Katherine Sultan: Production Assistant Katherine graduated from Lewis & Clark University in 2000 with a degree in theater, which was a
great lead-in toward the film industry; her new desired carrer path. Sly Dog is her first
experience and she's really excited to join such a talented and experienced cast and crew, and
expects to lean a lot.
